Study in Malaysia Japan Tour: Strengthening Bonds Through Education

TOKYO, 2nd May 2026 - A grand opening ceremony for the Study in Malaysia Japan Tour 2026 was held at the ANA Intercontinental Hotel,  held by the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). The event welcomed honored collaborators and 12 Malaysian institutions. The event attended by MSAJ’s representatives, including the President, ‘Ariqah Sarah, Vice President, Izzat Haiqal, Secretary-General, Ainul Radhiah, and External Affairs Coordinator Tinish Subramaniam. 

The ceremony started with the welcoming speech by the Chief Executive Officer of EMGS, Mr Novie Tajuddin, followed by a speech from the Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr Zainal Azlan. The ceremony main event was the signing of the partnership between EMGS and the Malaysia Ryugaku Support Centre (マレーシア留学サポートセンター) plus an exchange of gifts between the partners. The event is concluded with a lovely dinner and time for networking between guests. This partnership is done in hope to increase the number of students enrolling in Malaysia’s top performing institutions, and may it also strengthen the relationship between Malaysia and Japan through education.
